Ki The Universe’s Energy

KI CONSTITUTION OF HUMAN BEING

KI is not confined to specialized fields such as Oriental medicine, but the whole oriental view of life is based on seeing all of life as ki.

When we consider the human being as a manifestation of ki we can distinguish several stages of ki energy on him

KEK KI (Kek stands for Ketsu or blood) It is our most fundamental ki because it constantly nourishes de body

SHIO-KE salt ki or ki of minerals

MIZU-JE that’s the water ki or ki of liquids

DEN KI that literally means “ki of thunder” is the ki of the electricity that runs constantly through our bodies

JI KI that can be translated as the “gathering force ” the “attracting power” or the “magnetism”

REI KI that’s the ki of the spirit or “the invisible force of the soul”

All these stages of Ki come from SHIN KI or God-ki (the source).

Rei Ki (the ying yang) is born out of Shin Ki, and between ying and yang, Ji Ki (magnetism) arises, and next appears the vibration in the form of electricity (Den Ki) is produced. Then atmosphere water and minerals are formed. We take all these different kinds of energy in the form of food, and transform them into Kek-ki or blood, that nourishes our body.

HOW WE RECEIVE KI ENERGY

Our bodies receive Ki from two different sources:

Ying Ki Energy that comes from the outside world. These energies come from cosmic rays, sun rays, moon rays, humidity, temperature, sound waves, people radiations, etc.

Ying is the centrifugal and expanding force of the Universe. It attracts Yand and it repels Ying.

Yang Ki Energy that comes into our bodies from liquid and solid foods, that are then transformed into blood. The Yang ki feeds organs and tissues and determine their quality .

Yang is the centripetal force of the Universe. It attracts Ying and it repels Yang.

The interaction of these two energies enables our body to function. Both of them are continuously changing into each other: when Yang reaches its extreme, it changes into Ying and vice versa.

Ki es then the activity, the movement, the energy of vibration generated beween the Ying and Yang poles.

YING KI ENERGY HARMONY

It activates and charges our organs. The intensity and quality of the Ying Ki that we receive depends on our Yang Ki.

If we do not move (yang) our body, our Yang Ki looses its yang properties and no longer attracts the Ying ki. Similarly if we constantly over eat, the Yang Ki becomes stagnant and we can’t be charged actively by the Ying ki. We might have a good blood quality but over eating and not moving our organs will be charged with a minimal charge.

On the other hand, if we eat very yang food in small amounts we become so charged of Ying ki, that we start to act wild, we shout, we become anger, etc.

As a symptomatic remedy, adjusting Ying Ki by the means of acupuncture can only work in the short term. But for a long term healing, the Yang ki must be normalized.

OUR FIRE NATURE

The japanese word for “human being” is HITO. Hi means sun, and To means spirit or ghost. In other words for the japanese we are “fire ghosts” because they consider that the human body is nothing else than very dense energy, that has the characteristic of continuously create a temperature that’s different from its surroundings.

We know now that this “fire mass” is created by millons of cells that have seven main central heting furnaces named The Chakras. And this “fire mass” can only continue to exist if fuel is added from time to time, and our fuel is our food and drink, plus air.

At the moment of deciding what kind of fuel we will use we have several options.

Quick burning fuel that creates a stronger temperature for a short period, or slow burning fuel as the polysaccharides. Slow burning fuel is superior is superior for many reasons and one of them is that one does not need to eat very frequently when consuming slow burning fuel.

We can choose a fuel that needs to be suplied in large amounts (like meat), or fuel that only needs to be suplied in small amounts

We can choose fuel that can be stored easily or which decays rapidly. In ancient times that wasn’t even a choice because as they didn’t had refrigerators, they had to choose foods which tend to decay slowly when stored for large periods.

We can also choose fuel that leaves residues after being burned (like oil does), or the ones that burn cleanly and completely not producing residues

We must remember that we have seven chakras ant that each one of them needs a different kind of fuel, and if we consume refined foods we will only feed some of them.

And which are the wholesome foods which can be easily stored and which burn slowly, which are sufficient in small amounts, and burn without leaving much residues to give us the healing ki energy? The staple foods of the macrobiotic diet: whole grain, whole vegetables, whole beans and whoe sea vegetables (which has being the diet of most of the human being through world history).

Energy Healing And Its Relationship With The Human Energy Fields

Warning: Illegal string offset 'keywords_time' in /home/drbonomi/www/alternativemedicine/wp-content/plugins/internal_link_building-v-2-1/internal_link_building.php on line 118

The laying on of hands, also known as energy healing, energy therapy, bio-energy therapy, bio-field therapy and energy work, promotes healing by enhancing the energy flow and correcting disturbances in the human aura that surrounds the body. This improvement of the flow of aura’s energy supports the self-healing capacity of the body.

The laying on of hands is an old healing modality that is making its way back into our lives in a revival of ancient understandings. All around the world people is learning how to sense energy, move their energy and they are rediscovering energy healing therapies.

The application of energy fields for healing, implies the generation of a magnetic field strong enough to produce changes in the body without harming it, and that field should be refined enough to treat specific illness, because treating the aura with a large frequency spectrum is not enough.

Vibration healing or the laying on of hands can restore people to a state of health and harmony in four planes:

* Physically
* Mentally
* Emotionally
* And spiritually

Is there any other kind of healing?

No there is not! Everything that exists is energy, so every healing involves energy although most healing methods are only focused on the physical level.

Energy healing works over the energetic level of our being, and from there it influences the physical, emotional, mental and the spiritual level.

Energy healing is then a holistic healing method, because it addresses the energy of which the body mind and emotions are composed, complementing and supporting the other healing methods.

The vibration healers treat people by using pure energy that affects the energetic system acting as a type of wave-guide to redirect or realign the affected subtle energies.

Energy healing and energy medicine

Energy healing works through the laying on of hands, and is only part of a wider field called Energy Medicine that uses crystals, herbs, sound or mind control.

All of them work over vibratory patterns which influence the energetic patters at work in the physiology

Some healers like to employ crystals or other tools to produce energy healing, but energy healing if more often produced by the interaction of the healee with the healer in the energetic level. (Excellent references on energy medicine are Richard Gerber’s Vibration Medicine and James Oschman’s Energy Medicine.)

The human energy fields

The physical body that we see in a mirror is not the only one that we have; we also have an energy field that surrounds us named The Aura. The physical body is our most dense expression of energy, and we also have many other bodies sometimes called the subtle bodies

There are many different descriptions of our aura, but most of them describe it as having different layers.

There are also other important energy centers named the chakras where important exchanges of energy take place and that are also influenced by the energy healing.

What science says about energy healing

On the western civilization knowledge is acquired through the “trial and error method” or the “scientific method” but this is not the only way of gaining knowledge or maybe I should say that the “scientific method” only gains knowledge through the information that our senses provide us, but there are other ways of gaining knowledge that eastern civilization believe to be equally valid.

“Scientific method” can only prove what we can perceive through one or more of our five senses (“seeing is believing” we say), but there are those who are able to perceive through higher sense perception

But it has also being found that the observer affects the object of observation through the act of observing, so there must be something that happens in some other kind of energy field that our scientific do not accept as real by now.

And modern science is making every day discoveries about new healing methods that are consistent with the idea of influencing the human energy field with other energies (sound, heat, etc.)

Undoubtedly very few scientists will accept the idea of energy healing, but there are beginning to be some researches that indicate that healing does have an effect. Herewith I will mention only one, but you can read about the others below in the References.

A scientific experiment

The following experiment proved that therapists practicing non-contact healing methods are able to induce significant changes in the energy field of blindfolded test subjects.

An individual was isolated behind a divider and a conductivity (or Kirlian) image was taken of his finger.

The practitioner drew a card on which the word “brighter” was written (he was the only one in the room to see the card), then he proceeded to move his hands around the test subject without touching him, in attempt to make the conductivity image of the test subject brighter

Then another image was taken after 3 minutes of attempting to increase conductivity.

The photos clearly indicated that the practitioner successfully increased the energy when he attempted to do it, and then decreased the brightness of the test subject conductivity without touching him when he was instructed to do so.

The brighter and smoother images observed after the experiment not only indicated that the test subject’s energy changed, but also that an effective therapy was administered.

NOTE: If you want more information about this experiment you can find it at the CHI Institute (look on the web for chiexplorer

What does the science know about the human body’s energy fields?

These energy fields are quite measurable and there is strong evidence that known biophysical mechanisms can account for the observed phenomena.

All of us know that the human body has some electric fields that can be measured with techniques as EMG, EEG and EKG, ant that electrical signals are produced and received by the body.

In 1963 at Syracuce University it was also reported the first measurement of the magnetic field of the human heart, and in 1971 a superconducting magnetometer named SQUID was used to measure the Brain’s magnetic field.

In 1991 Seto and colleagues measured the magnetic field between the hands of healers and was established to be less than 1% or the heart’s magnetic field. And if the heart magnetic field can regulate biological functions it is certainly feasible that the magnetic field coming out from the hands of the healers might also influence biological functions.

In 1989 Del Guiudice verified the existence of the Josephson junction, a superconducting semiconductor present in the living tissue

In 1993 McCraty discovered that the DNA acts as a superconducting magnetic field detector, able through the Hall Effect to detect and produce magnetic signals, and to act as a signal amplifier.

Thus the modern science has discovered many mechanisms by which it is possible for healers to produce magnetic and electric healing energy to influence the patients. (Those who want more information about this matter can read “The Scientific Basis of Energy Medicine” written by James L. Oschman in 1998)

What does the healee feel?

After an energy healing session, the healer can experience significant and substantial shifts in mind, body and spirit.

He can either experience a reduction or elimination of the symptoms, or a sense of love, acceptance and deep letting go.

Meditation of visualizing colors improves memory and fights depression

by Syed Reaz

New book on meditation and Self-healing explains the benefit of combining color therapy with meditation along with breathing exercises and other methods for improving health and general well-being.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 25, 2005 — This and other unique facts are stated in the new book on Meditation and Healing: Muraqaba –The Art and Science of Sufi Meditation by a famous advise-columnist from South Asia and Sufi-Master Khwaja S. Azeemi. Now in English and published in the United States, the book explains the benefit of combining color therapy with meditation along with breathing exercises and other methods for improving health and well-being. Visit our site www.sufiblog.com

Author of more than 35 books, including Telepathy, Parapsychology, Spiritual Healing and others, Mr. Azeemi has helped millions of people through his unique style of healing where he applies the principles of Parapsychology along with color therapy, respiratory exercises and various techniques of meditation for the treatment of most common ailments and disorders of our time. For instance, he recommends meditation of visualizing Green color light for treating High Blood Pressure or hypertension and so on. Each color, according to him, has specific healing characteristics and their imbalance is the major culprit behind various disorders ranging from High Blood Pressure to skin disorders as well as psychological problems.

“What’s great about color-meditation is that it does not result in any physical exertion, the way other exercises normally would like running or biking”. This was stated by Dr. Faiyaz Hakim, M.D., a physician at the UMass Memorial Healthcare at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer, Massachusetts. A life long follower of Sufi-Master Azeemi, Dr. Hakim has been conducting weekly meditation classes at the Wing Memorial since 1997.

He added,” I have advised many of my patients this unique type of meditation with tremendous results. I believe the goal of any good physician is to make his or her patients rely less on medications and more on healthy life style. That is why doctors usually recommend doing exercises and other helpful activities. With meditation there are no chances of a knee injury or shortness of breath or anything else that are normally associated with physical activity and you can do it rain or shine in the privacy of your home”.

The 175 page Hardcover book is a practical guide to Sufi Meditation techniques with emphasis on Spiritual Healing through color therapy and mediation and breathing exercises. It is published by Plato Publishing, Inc., a privately held publishing company located in Houston, Texas. “Muraqaba: The Art and Science of Sufi Meditation” is available in online bookstores like amazon.com or by calling toll-free 800-431-1579 or through http://www.sufiblog.com. You Must Know That Depression Can Kill You

Warning: Illegal string offset 'keywords_time' in /home/drbonomi/www/alternativemedicine/wp-content/plugins/internal_link_building-v-2-1/internal_link_building.php on line 118

Unfortunately the depression is today statistically one of the first causes of death

And the question that immediately arises after this statement is…

Hoy have we reached this point?

The answer is that the civilization does not evolve equally in all its fields. Today we can find in our homes, things that where unbelievable only 100 years ago, but there are also great social inequities, with a level of information never reached before, and the fact that we can instantly know all the bad things that happen around the world (good news don’t sell well), plus a constant publicity bombarding that tells us that there are people that live much better than we do, or that we lack of what it’s necessary to be really happy…

Before these facts, some trend to migrate to other countries, to places where they will be foreigners forever, and where they will only reach (if they do it) a partial social adaptation, generally evolving among other groups of immigrants that have their same origin.

Others (in fact most of the people) will feel frustrated because they can’t reach “that” that it’s shown to us as so desirable and common for other people. Some will then opt to become a delinquent to get it any way, or for a frenetic fight to reach it (that many times ends up with their lives), or just will just become depressed.

So with all our technology the suffering has grown up and today’s uneasiness produce a growth of the depressive situations.

Marriage has also become a victim of the changes of the era, and while for our grand fathers was an unspeakable word, and for our fathers a not so often problem, today people gets divorced not only in alarming proportions, but we can also easily find people that have gone through three of four important couple breaks.

And all this loses, although today’s society doesn’t condemn them, are to be assumed and processed through stress, suffering and depression.

What is the depression?

There isn’t a general agreement about what the depression is. For some professionals is a reaction to a de-compensation, while others consider it a real sickness.

But there isn’t an only kind of depression, because among this group we will find:
* The mourning for the lost of a dear one
* The melancholy
* The lack of hope
* The frustration
* The sadness
* The bipolar illnesses
* Some chemical organic malfunctions
* Etc.

It’s obvious that we must distinguish between a chemical organic malfunction (as the lack of Lithium), from the depression produced by the lost of our job, the bipolar illnesses (where people go from depression to extreme exiting), or the sadness because we have being rejected for someone that we love.

There are some mourning processes that are not only normal but even desirable. We can’t pretend to be immune before the painful life’s circumstances, because the only logic thing is that they hurt us, and that we recover from them with a healthy psychic recovering process.

But the differences in the reactions come from two different causes:

First: There isn’t an agreement (and it can’t be) about what should produce depression and what shouldn’t. Each individual has his own value scale, and what for some is an annoyance, for other is the cause of a great pain, and for a third one could be a drama.

Second: It’s not the same when life strikes one that has a good relationship with his body, his family and his friends, that when it does it to someone that feels absolutely invaded by the situation, and doesn’t know (or doesn’t have) where to go to receive support.

How does it feel to be depressed?

Only one that has suffered it, can know what does it feel to be depressed, but in general the depression is a soul fall, a state of grief many times merged with frustration, self reproach, and a lack of will to meet people or do things.

It’s a moment when people trend to close over their own selves, a moment where they build as a dark cocoon where the victim gets into, and feels that no one can help him or understand what he feels. It’s a feeling that invites to stay alone in a dark room.

But all these are only generalities, only each person knows how he feels, and every person reacts as they can or as they know. Some overload themselves with activity, as a way of denying what they feel, some ask for help, and others know within themselves how to overcome that situation.

What is important is to know that being depressed is normal, that to some is more painful than to others, but it’s only one of the normal reactions of the human being. It’s not an incurable sickness, or something strange that only happens to us. It’s only a problem, an obstacle on our way, and as such it can be overcome.

It is also important to say, that one thing is the person that goes through a mourning that takes a short time, and day by day is left behind, and other thing the person that sinks into a melancholy state where the mourning becomes eternal and begins to merge with their daily life because they are not able to recover from it..

Is the depression something serious?

Suffering is no doubt something serious, and most for the one that suffers. For that reason we mustn’t think that who’s depressed is pretending or doesn’t’ have why to be depressed or for so much time.

Each one lives his mourning as he knows or as he can, and it is not something that we choose, it’s something that it’s felt. Then, the first thing to consider is that no one makes a mistake with his feelings

When a person feels desolated, sad or depressed, we can agree or not if the reasons to be depressed are enough or if the time that it takes is too much, but we can’t think that they are wrong, if they say that they are depressed we must believe that they are not feeling well, and see if we can help them to come out from that situation.

The depression is something that should be taken seriously, and it’s something that we should tell to our doctor, because as I have said before, sometimes comes because of a lack of certain chemical products in our body, and sometimes lead to the suicide.
It should also be considered that the depression state it’s something not so easy to identify oneself.

The depressed person has a distorted vision of the reality. “Everything depends on the color of the glass through which you watch at”, and who’s depressed sees everything through a dark glass, and not always is able to be aware about what he needs to come out from there, and much less how to come out from there.
